1st
competition of Czech Cup 2002 and Children Cup 2002.
The
opening competition of Czech Cup 2002 and Children Cup 2002 took place in Sokol
Liboc, Prague, Saturday 27-APR-2002.
After
the several months pause 72 competitors came to Prague including the best Czech
representatives such as Petra Vachníková from TJ Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and Petr
Dufek from the organising team TJ Petřiny Praha.
Petra
Vachníková participated on the Olympic Games 2000 and she is fivefold Czech Cup
Champion too. Petr Dufek is fivefold Czech Cup Champion and quadruple Czech
Republic Champion. Both were the favourites of the competition.
In
the category of ladies individuals Petra Vachníková masterfully went through
the competition and with a small hesitation in the voluntary routine won the
category. She was in the head after the compulsory routine (26,7 pts) and she
fastened the leading position in the voluntary round (35,1/10,5 pts). In the
final round, from zero, she performed the much better routine (36,4/11,4 pts).
There
was a fight of the 2nd position where 3 competitors participated:
Jitka Holíčková from Sokol Žižkov I, Kristýna Závodníková from Sokol
Brno-Komárov (the best Czech junior lady last year) and Libuše Pilzová from SK
GT Litoměřice (double Czech junior Champion).
In
the compulsory routine round there were only minimal differences among ladies:
Kristýna Závodníková - 26,1/B, Libuše
Pilzová – 26,0/A and Jitka Holíčková – 25,9/A.
In
the voluntary routine round Libuše Pilzová was the best of the triad: she
obtained 34,6/10,7 pts in contrary of 32,6 pts of the both main rivals. Libuše
was on the running 2nd position behind Petra Vachníková after the
Qualifying round.
After
the final round the situation changed. Jitka Holíčková performed a very good
final routine (34,6/9,6 pts) and finally won the 2nd place behind
Kristýna Závodníková (34,5/10,2 pts) and Libuše Pilzová (34,4 /10,2 pts).
Petra
Vachníková dominated among ladies and similarly Petr Dufek was a king among
men. He obtained by 6 pts more in the Qualifying round than his rivals. Only
Petr Dejl was a tight rival in the final round (37,3/13,1 pts), but Petr Dufek,
thanks to the better execution of the final routine, stamped himself as the
best Czech competitor now (38,3/13,3 pts).
Experienced
Petr Dostál from Sokol Olomouc finish on the 3rd place (34,2/9,4
pts).
Petra
Vachníková had a new synchrony partner: Libuše Pilzová. It was their first
start in the category of synchronised ladies pairs. They had more simple
routines, but with rather good synchronisation and a very good execution. They
won finally the category (43,9/7,4 pts).
However,
the pair Zuzana Musialková/Kristýna Závodníková complicated them the way to the
victory. The Czech junior Champion pair was in the head after the Qualifying
round and only in the final round the pair Vachníková/Pilzová was batter then
the second one (43,1/7,8 pts).
On
the 3rd place there was the pair Simona Kadlecová/Jana Vaculínová
from TJ Rožnov pod Radhoštěm (41,4 / 5,6 pts) after the final round despite of
the injury. They won the Czech Cup 2001, however, they competed in Children Cup
2002 too.
In
the category of men synchronised pairs Petr Dejl/Petr Dufek, the double victor
of the Czech Cup 2000 and 2001 (TJ Petřiny Praha) will hardly find more serious
rivals. The course of the competition vindicates this. Despite the weaker final
routine they won with a great difference before the pair Jan Adamec/Pavel
Štefela from TJ Rožnov pod Radhoštěm on the 2nd place (36,0 / 1,6 bodu) and Ondřej Bek/Karel Rückel from Sokol Dvůr Králové nad Labem on the 3rd
place (34,6/1,1 pts).
In
the Children Cup there traditionally girls from TJ Rožnov pod Rahoštěm
dominated. They were on the first four positions. In the Qualifying round
Simona Kadlecová (54,0/6,3 pts) and Jana Vaculínová (53,7/7,0 pts) were better
then the rest of the field. In the final round Jana Vaculínová was the best
(32,4/9,7 pts) before Simona Kadlecová (30,0/6,3 pts) and Gabriela Palacká
(29,3/5,1 pts). On the 4th place there was Nikola Mičolová (29,2/4,8
pts).
Daniel
Komarev from Tj Petřiny Praha was the best in the category of boys individuals
(30,8/8,5 pts in the final). Milan Zálužanský from Sokol Žižkov I was the 2nd
(28,8/5,0 pts) and Pavel Štefela from TJ Rožnov pod Radhoštěm was the 3rd
(27,3/3,2 pts)
